    Both evenings 7:00 PM

    In Person

The Festival of Lights — eight nights remembering the rededication of the Temple, kept with the hanukkiah.

Hanukkah at Upper Room NYC — December 7 and 11, 2026, the Festival of Lights

    About this gathering

Hanukkah remembers the rededication of the Temple after it had been defiled — and the light that kept burning when by every reckoning it should have gone out. Each night another candle is added to the hanukkiah until all eight are lit.

We gather Monday evening, December 7 at 7:00 PM and Friday evening, December 11 at 7:00 PM.

Yeshua Himself kept this feast — John records Him walking in the Temple at the Feast of Dedication. It is a season about light holding out against the dark, and about a God who rededicates what the world had written off.
