Upper Room NYC is a Modern Messianic Synagogue on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. We are a community of Jewish people and people from the nations who believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the promised Messiah of Israel. Every week we gather for Shabbat to worship with modern anthems and ancient rhythms, read from our Torah scrolls, pray the Hebrew liturgy, and study the Scriptures together. If you have a question before you visit, the fastest way to reach us is the form above or a direct email — a real person on our team reads and answers every message, usually within two business days.
Shabbat gatherings are held Friday evenings at 7:00 PM and Saturday mornings at 11:00 AM at 250 E 61st St in Manhattan. Midweek we meet for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. Doors open early, so come a few minutes ahead if you would like to meet someone from our team before the service begins.
We are a short walk from the Lexington Ave/59th St and 63rd St subway stations and several crosstown bus routes. If you are driving in, we recommend using SpotHero to reserve a spot in one of the nearby garages, which is usually far cheaper than street-side options in the neighborhood.
You are welcome to send a prayer request through the form on this page. Requests are handled with care and confidentiality by our leadership, and our prayer team lifts them up during our weekly meetings.
For speaking invitations, ministry partnerships, volunteering, or questions about giving and membership, email us at info@upperroom.nyc and include a few details so we can route your message to the right person on our team.
