Rabbi Jason Sobel of Fusion Global joins Upper Room NYC for a special Shabbat Morning gathering on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM.
The gathering takes place in person at our Manhattan meeting location and follows our usual Shabbat Morning order — Hebrew liturgy, modern worship, Torah reading and teaching.
No registration is required. Everyone is invited to stay afterward for Oneg, our community fellowship meal.

Rabbi Jason Sobel
Rabbi Jason Sobel is a Messianic rabbi, author, founder of Fusion Global, and spiritual advisor to the internationally acclaimed series The Chosen. Raised in a Jewish home in New Jersey, he later came to believe in Yeshua and founded Fusion Global to reconnect Jewish and Christian followers of Jesus with the Hebrew context of Scripture. He received his rabbinic ordination from the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations in 2005. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Jewish Studies from Moody Bible Institute and a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Southeastern Seminary. His work includes The Chosen Unveiled on TBN and several books, including The Rock, the Road, and the Rabbi, co-authored with Kathie Lee Gifford.
