What to Expect on Your First Visit

Walking into a Messianic Jewish synagogue for the first time can feel unfamiliar, especially if you have never been to a synagogue before. Our goal is simple: you should never feel lost or put on the spot. Our Shabbat gatherings blend modern worship anthems with the ancient rhythms of Jewish liturgy, Hebrew prayers, and readings from our Torah scrolls, followed by a teaching from the Scriptures with Yeshua (Jesus) at the center. Everything spoken in Hebrew is also explained in English, and someone from our welcome team is always nearby if you have a question.

When & Where

We gather at 250 E 61st St in Manhattan on Friday evenings at 7:00 PM and Saturday mornings at 11:00 AM. Arrive ten minutes early if you would like to grab a seat near the back, meet someone, and settle in before we begin.

What to Wear

Modest attire is all we ask. Suits and dresses are not required — plenty of people come straight from work or a Saturday morning in the city. Come as you are.

Do I Need to Be Jewish?

No. Our community is made up of Jewish people and people from the nations, along with Christians from across New York City who worship with us on Shabbat. Whether you are exploring faith, returning to it, or simply curious about Messianic Judaism, you are welcome here — questions and all.

Bringing Children

Children are at the heart of everything we do and are welcome in our gatherings. Families are a normal, joyful part of Shabbat here, so there is no need to worry about a restless toddler.

After the Gathering

We linger. Stay for conversation, meet the Rabbi, and ask anything you would like. If you fill out the form above, someone from our team will follow up personally to answer questions and help you find your place in the community — at whatever pace feels right to you.
