Welcome to Upper Room NYC

Upper Room NYC is a Messianic Synagogue and so much more-

We’re rooted in the story of the Upper Room—a place where resurrection, revelation, and revival broke out. It’s where Elijah and Elisha saw the dead raised, where Peter prayed and Tabitha came back to life, where Yeshua shared His final Passover, and where the disciples waited until the Holy Spirit came in power. That wasn’t just history—it’s a blueprint.

We’re here to reimagine Messianic Jewish life for this generation. It’s ancient paths meeting modern worship—deeply rooted, Spirit-led, and fully alive. Whether you’re Jewish or from the nations, curious or committed, there’s space for you here.

What Makes Us Different

Upper Room NYC isn’t just a place to attend—it’s a space to encounter God in a real, alive, and Spirit-led way. We flow between ancient rhythms and modern moments, holding space for both the mystery and the movement. It’s reflective and raw. Structured and spontaneous. Rooted in tradition, but not stuck in it.

You might walk into a moment of stillness… or into a room filled with music, voices, and freedom. Our worship is both grounded and creative—where awe meets authenticity. We make room for the Spirit to move, for people to be real, and for lives to actually change.

What sets us apart is how we hold the tension—between history and hunger, reverence and revival. We’re not trying to copy anyone. We’re letting God shape something fresh through who we are.

And we’re not just about the room. We’re about becoming the kind of people who carry the presence of God into everyday life—with holiness, with humility, and with purpose.

This isn’t a performance. It’s family. It’s a movement. It’s Upper Room NYC.
